Twin Peaks OST and Fire Walk With Me OST

I was a hard-core fan of David Lynch's little television masterpiece when I was in high school during it's original network airings, and through my fascination with the show, I discovered one of my favorite composers: Angelo Badalamenti.

Though not my favorite of his works (his collaboration with Lynch on The Straight Story, which is probably my favorite Lynch film, would be my pick), the Twin Peaks stuff is haunting and mesmerizing at the same time.

Jackie Chan- Greatest Hits (2005)

Oh man. There's really nothing I can say about this one, because I'm pretty speechless.....other than the first track sounds kinda like an Eagles tune....if they were Cantonese.

From Wikipedia:

Jackie Chan is a prolific singer, having started producing records in the early 80s. He started singing the theme songs over the closing credits of his films in 1980, when the film The Young Master was produced. Chan sang its theme song, titled "Kung Fu Fighting Man" entirely in English. Since then he has produced over 20 different albums, singing over 100 songs in over five languages, and has teamed up with singers such as Ani DiFranco and the late Anita Mui. His personal achievements also include winning Best Foreign Singer Award in Japan in 1984.

Doctor Mordrid OST- Richard Band (1993)

Even though I am a B-Movie fan, I never took a liking to any of Charles and Richard Band's Full Moon output. I was a HUGE fan of the Bands stuff from the early 1980s (mostly done under the Empire films label) like the first TRANCERS, ROBOT JOX, etc.,...

There was one exception, though....and that was DOCTOR MORDRID. I've loved this rip-off of Marvel Comics' Dr, Strange since I first saw it via video rental in the early 1990s.....Jeffery Combs is pretty good in it, taking an odd turn playing the hero of this little cinematic endeavor. Fun stuff....I still need to get this on DVD (I think they finally got around to doing a release...I know for awhile there were some legal hassles that were holding it up).

Anyways....here's the original score album....

Track Listing:
01. Doctor Mordrid
02. Astral Projection
03. The Detective Next Door
04. Into the Fourth Dimension
05. Fortress of the Damned
06. Gunner's Warning
07. Eternal Enemies
08. Station Break
09. To Hell with the Police

THE SHADOWS play THUNDERBIRDS ARE GO! COLUMBIA / EMI RECORDS UK 1962

I've looked for this UK release for years, after first watching a late-night TBS "100% Weird" broadcast of Thunderbirds Are Go! and Thunderbird 6 in my teens...

From Wikipedia:

Back at Tracy Island, Alan feels unappreciated after returning home due to his father's insistence that he remain on duty on the Island while the others are enjoying themselves. Disappointed and annoyed, Alan has a dream about going with Lady Penelope to the Swinging Star, which in his dream is located in outer space. Playing at the nightclub are "Cliff Richard Jr. and the Shadows" (puppets and voices of the real Cliff Richard and the Shadows), who perform a musical number called "Shooting Star" (accompanied by music video-like imagery such as the Cliff Richard Jr. marionette dancing on a giant guitar in space), and an instrumental track "Lady Penelope".

Track Listing:
01- Thunderbirds Theme
02- Shooting Star
03- Lady Penelope
04- Zero X

Naked Angels OST (1969)

From Movie Grooves:

A superb mix of of acid-inspired hard rock, funky incidental music and studio experimentation, the Naked Angels soundtrack stands up well as an inventive collection of jams and conveys an infectious sense of fun and irreverence throughout.

Originally released on Frank Zappa's legendary Straight label in 1969, this hard-rocking collection was the first release from future Zappa sideman Jeff Simmons (accompanied here by session guitarist Randy Steirling).
